[00:00:00] With all teams created and rosters populated the next step in launching your season is to activate all the teams within your teams list. Now, you can do this segmented by division if you need to do these at different times. However, if you need to activate. Any team click the blue team activation button in the upper right hand corner and activate all pending teams, or select an individual team that you want to activate.
[00:00:24] Also, you could select teams with the checkbox next to their name, click Actions, and activate rosters that way. Activating the rosters will make the team live in the app so players and parents can see schedules, communicate with their coach and with each other, and opens up the app's capabilities for them.
[00:00:40] The other thing that it does on your end is allows you to message them through the messages area in TeamLinkt. You can find that in your left side navigation. Once teams are activated, you'll have the option to send new messages to all team admins across any of the teams that you have selected, or to all team members in which everyone will get notified.
[00:00:58] Select your teams and create your content that message will be sent out as a push notification as well as an email. If someone has not downloaded the app yet, they will still receive notifications to their email inbox. This is the best way to message people during the season, there is another way that you can message them, and that is the organization members messaging that appears as a sub menu under messages once messages is clicked.
[00:01:21] This is a great way to communicate with your users outside of the season. This taps into your members' database and allows you to contact people that have ever been a part of your organization, or you can customize and filter those users so that it's just specific people you want to be messaging
