The TeamLink Officials Module is your centralized hub for recruiting, scheduling, and paying the referees and linesmen who keep your games running.
[00:00:00] Welcome to the Team Linked Officials module. The officials module is a place where you can insert officials into your account and have them be assigned to different events that you are adding through your events tab. Currently the only way to get the officials area populated is to have them fill out an official specific registration form.
[00:00:20] This means going through the registration area, creating a new registration, and making sure that for the question of who's registering, we are selecting officials and referees. Anyone who fills out this registration form will automatically be populated into the officials module for this season.
[00:00:36] It is important with officials registration that every official does have a unique email. We can't leave the email area blank in this case. And we do need a unique one from a parent or guardian that may be registering the child if it's a youth official. Once the officials area is populated, you'll wanna make sure that you go to roles and set any roles that are needed for this season.
[00:01:00] For example, if you're playing hockey, you may need linesman's and referees. You'll wanna make sure that you add each of those, as well as the amount of pay that you plan on paying that referee for that assigned event. Once you have all of your, official roles done. You can move on to divisional settings and based on the divisions that you have set in your season, you wanna set how many officials for a specific division you need.
[00:01:25] For example, maybe a U 13 division in hockey requires two linesmen and one other official. In this case, we'd want to add another role in here. Once you have that done, go through your season settings. Set anything that is required in terms of your general official management. For example, the ability for officials to set blacklist locations or to, decline accepted assignments
[00:01:49] we have the TeamLink officials app. This is where your officials can set their availability for the season, and then you can utilize that availability to assign them to different events. Any events added to the events area that are games will populate directly into the assignments area, and you can drag and drop your officials into that area to get started.
[00:02:10] Once anyone has completed an assignment, they appear in the payments area with the amount that you will owe them. For the role and game that they officiated.
