Set Up the Emi AI Chatbot on Your Website

Learn how to enable and configure the Emi AI chatbot on your TeamLinkt website to automatically answer member questions.

Emi is an AI chatbot you can add to your TeamLinkt website to automatically answer questions from your members. Once active, it pulls information directly from your TeamLinkt site and any custom FAQs you add.

Requirements

  • The Operations bundle must be enabled on your account. Once active, the chatbot is automatically available under your Website settings.

Access the Chatbot

  1. In the left navigation, go to Website > Chatbot.

  2. Here you'll see your chatbot stats (conversations started, messages sent) and configuration options.

How It Works

When you enable the chatbot, the system automatically scrapes your TeamLinkt website and uses that content to answer visitor questions. It can only pull from two sources:

  • Your TeamLinkt website content

  • Custom questions you add in the Frequently Asked Questions section

It won't pull from external websites or other platforms.

Enable the Chatbot

  1. On the Chatbot page, find the Test mode toggle in the top right.

  2. By default, Test mode is on β€” this means the chatbot is only visible to you for review, not to visitors on your website.

  3. Toggle Test mode off to make the chatbot live and publicly visible.

Add Custom FAQs

  1. Scroll to the Frequently asked questions section.

  2. Click + Add question.

  3. Enter the question and your preferred answer.

  4. Repeat for any additional questions you want Emi to reference.

Troubleshooting

  1. The chatbot isn't showing on my website ?
    Check that Test mode is turned off. When Test mode is on, the chatbot won't appear to visitors β€” only to you when logged in.
