Connect your Zoom account to TeamLinkt to automatically create a Zoom meeting anytime you select the online meeting event type. Team members will be notified and can access the Zoom meeting link from the TeamLinkt team management app!

Installation

To connect your Zoom accounnt to TeamLinkt and create a Zoom meeting, follow these steps:

  1. Login to TeamLinkt at https://app.teamlinkt.com with your credentials

  2. Select the "Schedule" menu

  3. Click the "Add/Import" button and select "Add Events"

  4. Click the "Advanced" button

  5. Change the "Type" to "Meeting (Online)"

  6. Click "Connect Zoom"

  7. Click the "Connect Zoom Account" button

  8. Login to your Zoom account if prompted.

  9. Provide authorization to TeamLinkt for the specified permissions by clicking "Authorize"

  10. After authorization is granted select "Meeting (Online)" again

  11. Fill in event details and click "Save"

  12. A Zoom meeting is created

Note that steps 6-10 are one-time only. Once authorization has been granted, creating a Zoom meeting is as simple as selecting the "Meeting (Online)" type and saving the event.

Uninstalling

If you no longer want to create Zoom meetings through TeamLinkt, follow these steps:

  1. Login to TeamLinkt at https://app.teamlinkt.com with your credentials

  2. Select the "Schedule" menu

  3. Click the "Add/Import" button and select "Add Events"

  4. Click the "Advanced" button

  5. Change the "Type" to "Meeting (Online)"

  6. Click "Zoom is Connected"

  7. Click the "Disconnect Zoom Account" button

  8. You will be redirected to your Zoom account on the Zoom site.

  9. Click "Uninstall" from the Zoom site for the TeamLinkt app.

Troubleshooting

Connecting your account is a fairly straight-forward task but if you run into any issues please check the following:

  1. Ensure your Zoom account is active. You can use the free account they provide if you wish.

  2. Ensure you gave permissions to TeamLinkt to create Zoom meetings. Login into Zoom and check that the TeamLinkt app is listed in your list of applications.

  3. Try uninstalling the app following the instructions above and then perform the installation steps again.
