Why can't I issue a refund?

Having trouble refunding a registrant's credit card? If so, please read the article below!

If you are having problems issuing a refund to the registrant's credit card, it could be because you do not have enough money in your Stripe account to issue a refund.

Funds used for issuing refunds are stored right in Stripe, not in TeamLinkt.

Navigate to Banking in TeamLinkt and scroll to the bottom to view your funds. If Stripe Available to Pay Out is less than the refund amount, you do not have enough to perform the refund. You can simply click Add Funds to add more funds from your Bank account to your Stripe account. This can take 3-5 business days for the funds to settle and be ready for a payout

NOTE: by default, Stripe does auto-payouts to your bank account that is linked to your Stripe account. We recommend disabling the auto-payouts in Stripe if you are planning to do refunds!
