Pitch Count Settings let you define age-based pitching rules for your league. The system will automatically display pitcher availability on your public website based on the pitch counts entered for each player and the rules you set here.

This feature is available to baseball organizations only and is a paid add-on — it is not included in any bundle.
You can purchase it by clicking the rocket icon in the top right corner of your dashboard.
Before You Start
For pitch counts to work efficiently :
Set up your pitching rules before entering stats. The system only calculates pitcher eligibility based on thresholds that were saved at the time stats were entered. If you add or update thresholds after stats have already been entered, you may need to re-save stats for those events.
Ensure roster members have birthdates entered. The system uses birthdates entered in team's roster, to calculate player ages and apply the correct age-based rules. Players without a birthdate on file will not be evaluated correctly.
Setting Up Pitching Rules
Go to Schedule > Statistics.
Click Pitching Rules in the top right.
Click Add Threshold to create a new age-based rule.
Select the age range the rule applies to.
Enter the Daily Max Pitches for that age group.
Enter the pitch count ranges for each rest day tier (0 Days Rest, 1 Days Rest, 2 Days Rest, 3 Days Rest).
Repeat for each age group in your league.
Once saved, the system will use these thresholds to automatically determine and display pitcher availability based on pitch counts logged for each player.
Tip: Click Use MLB Pitch Smart Rules in the top right to automatically populate the fields with standard MLB Pitch Smart guidelines.
Additional Settings
League Age Date — Set the date the system uses to calculate each player's age (e.g., August 31). Player ages will be determined as of this date, which determines which pitching rule threshold applies to them.
Max Days in a Row — Set the maximum number of consecutive days a pitcher is allowed to pitch.
