Blocks let you build out your website pages by dragging pre-made layout pieces onto the page — no code needed. This checklist will quickly help you to get familiar with Blocks.
Where to Find Blocks
Go to Website Builder and open the page you want to edit.
Open the Blocks panel on the left. Blocks are grouped by following Criteria.
Layout: Building blocks you can use to create custom layouts.
Content : Blocks you can use to add or create content such as images, text, and buttons.
TeamLinkt Widgets: Blocks that pull data directly from your TeamLinkt account.
You can add a Block By Drag a block from the panel and drop it into the page preview on the right.
You can Edit Settings for the Selected Block on the Right.
Let's add some Blocks :
We learn best by doing, so let's dive into Blocks and start building some Custom Layouts of your own.
Let's create this Layout using Grid Block:
Click and Drag the Grid Block onto the page.
If it's not already Selected > Select the Block you just added > Edit the Following Settings in the Right Side :
Congratulations! You have created your 1st Custom Layout in TL.
Now let's using the Table Block and create a 2 Rows * 3 Columns Table:
Click and Drag the Table Block onto the page.
If it's not already Selected > Select the Block you just added > Edit the Following Settings in the Right Side :
Layering Blocks :
You can create more advanced layouts by adding Layout Blocks on top of an existing Layout Block. Once you've created a layout you like, you'll want to add some Content Blocks.
Let's try layering using the Grid Block we added Earlier :
Click and drag a Text Box into the left column of the grid.
Select the text box by clicking into it, then edit the settings and text from the right-hand side.
Click and drag an Image Block into the right column of the grid.
Add an image using this setting:
