How to use a Table Block

Written by Preet Jain

Set Rows and Columns
Under Data, use the + and buttons next to Rows and Columns to set how many you need.

Import Data from a Spreadsheet (CSV/TSV)

Important: importing replaces any existing rows in the table.

Instead of building the table manually, you can bring in data directly:

  • With the table selected, paste (Cmd/Ctrl+V) rows copied from a spreadsheet or CSV file. Comma, tab, and semicolon delimiters are auto-detected.

  • Or click Upload CSV / TSV file to import a file directly.

Set Block Options
Open Block options to adjust how the table displays:

  • Header row: click Show to display the first row as a header, or Hide to remove it.

  • Variant: choose a visual style for the table, such as Surface.

Adjust Layout
Open the Layout section to fine-tune the table's spacing:

  • Horizontal padding (px): space added to the left and right of the table.

  • Vertical padding (px): space added above and below the table.
