[00:00:00] Welcome to the TeamLink website builder. TeamLink websites are provided with any organization account that you create within our platform, and they can be managed by yourself, if you have a website on another platform let your rep know and we can have a discussion on what your website transition would look like.
[00:00:19] In order to access the editing of your website, go to the organization Tools and click website. Here you'll see a brief overview of your website just a visual preview of it. You'll be able to manage any of your add-ons. Add-ons. Are any. Quick way to add content to any webpage on your website.
[00:00:38] If you want to edit the website or view the website that you built, click Open Builder in here. You'll be able to see all your webpage on the left hand side that are currently live as well as any that are hidden. You will notice that the icon next to business has a little slash through it.
[00:00:56] That just means that page is hidden from the website currently. If you want to make that live, click the gear icon for that page and you'll have the option to show navigation link on website. You could switch that to yes. For any webpage that exists on your TeamLink website, it is guided by the general styling set in the lower left hand corner of the builder.
[00:01:21] If you wish to try a different styling template, feel free to do that and select whichever one you want to try, as well as set your general, genre of colors that the website is going to hold. We have primary colors, page backgrounds, footer backgrounds, button backgrounds, and so on. Make sure that you align your branding with what your organization needs.
[00:01:42] We do have a number of preset pages that we create for you. In this case we have the schedule tabs, scores, tabs, standing statistics, locations, and registration. Each of these are preset and prefilled from the information that you add to the back end of your team link.
[00:02:00] Dashboard. If you have any registration forms that are open, they will automatically appear on the registration tab. If you have locations schedules and scores entered, these will appear on your homepage. We have editable fields, such as the logo in the upper left corner of this template.
[00:02:15] The banner the call to action button and some customized information down here. Add-ons, quick ways to add content to your webpage. That is what you see here. So the event, marquee news, photos, executives, and sponsors are all add-ons that have been quickly added to these web pages.
[00:02:34] If you wanna remove any of these, like removing any other content on any webpage that you build. Hover over that area and click the trash icon to remove it. If you want to add additional add-ons, we have add content available on a variety of places on this webpage. Click the arrow next to it and that will open up your add-ons.
[00:02:54] In this case, maybe I want to add my Facebook link. I'll click Facebook and it will add it onto that webpage. You can add additional web pages beyond the ones that we create for you. To do that, go to the upper left hand corner and click the plus icon. You'll have three options of webpages that you can create.
[00:03:12] We'll start with folder. Folder is just a placeholder in your menu items that will allow you to create sub menus underneath it. But folders are not clickable. They're not gonna take you any webpage. But they will create sub menus underneath that, that you can then link to other pages.
[00:03:28] External links is, gives you the ability to take a URL. And have that page be linkable outside to somewhere else. That could be external to another website or it could be internally if you wanted to link to something directly. And the last option is to create a page. When you create a page, it's gonna ask you for your page name.
[00:03:49] It's gonna ask you for the type of page. Now you can create a brand new page or clone from something existing. You could quick add any add-ons you want to have on that page we do have the ability to utilize AI generated content if you want, the system to explain anything in your sport industry.
[00:04:05] Or geographical area then we can select the layout for our page. A one column is just a large block that you can just add text to, or images or however you, however it is that you wanna customize, that you can do a sidebar structure that will have a general area for content as well as a skinny area beside it for additional content.
[00:04:23] Or you can do a two thirds, one third sort of setup. In this case, I'm gonna do a sidebar setup. And click create. Once that page is created, you'll notice that the event Marques is showing in here and the photos as I have selected, and I have my content available here with that sidebar showing. I could text and make any edits to this page by going through any of the text boxes.
[00:04:48] Or adding additional text boxes as needed. We'll prompt you at the beginning to utilize AI generated content if you want to. I could switch this off or I could skip it. So in this case, if I skip, it's gonna add another text box here that I can work within. I can also add sections. So maybe I want to add another section to the structure.
[00:05:08] And I want to have two columns. Now I have a two column section here where I can add content on both sides. Within each of these text boxes, we do have a bunch of tools up here. These would be typical to any document editor that you've ever utilized with the ability to adjust font, colors and texts, bold and italicize, deal with alignments, add hyperlinks, add images, create button links, and manage your file manager as well.
[00:05:34] Your file manager is a place where you can add photos, documents, and so on, and link them directly onto a page. We do have the ability for you to create buttons as well that can link out to different URLs if they are clicked on, or do a file download if you want to attach some sort of a document
[00:05:50] the only other things you need to consider on the website builder is, creating folders and sub menus. So perhaps I want to create a folder that's gonna encompass a couple pages that I've already created. In this case, we'll just call this general.
[00:06:07] When I create this general info folder, you'll notice that it will appear on the left hand side you can offset and create menus of additional content underneath any other webpage that exists. So you can click and drag and create sub menus as needed.
[00:06:24] And when I publish and preview this publicly, if I hover over general info, I now have that sub menu with the option to have sub menus off of my sub menu items. This way you can organize your data and have certain things shown where you want
[00:06:37] general Info as a folder. Means that when I click on General Info, nothing happens, but if I click on another webpage, it will take me to whatever webpage I click on.
