Parental consent on imports, a new Score For Percentage tiebreaker, Website Builder standings and schedules, and fixes across TeamLinkt.

Written by Ryan Nieman

Features

Confirm parental consent when you import people
Imports of players and coaches never asked whether your organization had parents' permission to add their information to TeamLinkt. Now, when you import people with Smart Importer or the other import pages, you'll tick a box confirming you have that consent. Imports without personal details, like Locations, divisions or events, work the same as before.

New standings tiebreaker: Score For Percentage
Many hockey organizations break ties using each team's share of the goals scored in their games, but there was no way to rank teams by it. Score For Percentage (goals for, divided by goals for plus goals against) is now available as a Standings column and as a tiebreaker in your standings rules.

Improvements

Pick up where you left off after logging in
If TeamLinkt asked you to log in again, for example after leaving a tab open for a while, you could lose your place, or the page could come back with the menu missing. Now the menu stays put, and after you log in you land right back on the page you were on.

Registration emails come from your organization
Families sometimes didn't recognize who a registration confirmation email was from. It now shows your organization's name as the sender, like "Your Org via TeamLinkt."

Your website's Standings block shows every column
The Standings block on your Public Website only showed rank, team name and streak. It now shows every standings column you've set up, sorted by your tiebreaker rules.

Website schedules can show non-team events
Your Public Website schedule left out events that weren't tied to a team, even when it was set to show all events. You can now include them.

Pick a season before filtering by division
With "All Seasons" selected, the division filter on your Public Website schedule listed the same division names over and over. You now pick a season first, and the filter only shows that season's divisions.

Unassigned teams are easier to spot
The badge for teams not yet placed in a division only showed once you opened a dropdown, so they were easy to miss. It now shows right on the Teams page.

Background checks are billed automatically
If you use the Background Checks Power-Up, completed background checks are now billed automatically each month.

Team Waivers need text before you turn them on
A team Waiver could be switched on with no waiver text, so families could be asked to sign a blank waiver. You'll now be asked to add the text first.

What's New links to help articles
Updates in the What's New panel didn't point you to more help. They now include a Learn more link when there's a help article that goes with them.

Bug fixes

Hidden contact info stays hidden in the Team App
Roster contact details could still show in the Team App even when your season's roster settings said to hide them. They're now hidden as expected.

Admins can make bookings again
Some admins got an error when trying to make a booking, even though they had admin access. They can now book as expected.

Cancelled card payments don't stay stuck
When a card payment was cancelled before it went through, Banking Transactions kept showing it as "Processing." It now updates, so you can collect the payment again from the invoice.

Family discounts apply in full on payment plans
On instalment payment plans, a family discount could be capped at the amount due at sign-up. Family discounts now take off the full amount, the same way Discount Codes do.

Importing rosters stays on the team
Choosing Import Rosters on a team's Rosters page sent Team Admins to the organization's Smart Importer. It now keeps them on that team's own import screen.

Cloning a season keeps your standings settings
Cloned seasons didn't always bring over standings column settings correctly, including division-level ones. They now copy over properly.

Fundraiser bank account emails are sending
The email reminding you to connect a bank account for a Fundraiser had stopped sending. It's sending again.

Edit roster details for players without an account
You couldn't edit roster details for players who didn't have a TeamLinkt account linked yet. Now you can.

Location filters include non-team events
Filtering your schedule by Location left out events that weren't tied to a team. They're now included.

In-progress scores save with a blank clock
An in-progress score wouldn't save if the game clock fields were left empty. It now saves.

No hotel requests for TBD or online events
The hotel request option showed on events with a TBD or online location. It no longer does.

The Schedule Builder opens every time
The Schedule Builder could fail to open if a saved schedule had empty rounds or events with incomplete times. It now opens normally.

Live Stats reloads reliably
Reloading a game in Live Stats could fail when the game had player check-ins. It now reloads every time.

Website previews work for new sites
Previewing a new website from the Website Builder could show "Page not found." Previews now open correctly.

Locations open without a warning
A team's Locations page could show a warning pop-up when it opened. It now loads cleanly.

Removed Locations can be added back
Some Locations couldn't be added back to an account after being removed. You can now re-add them.

The team page menu loads every time
The side menu on team pages could fail to load. It now loads reliably.

Pages with apostrophes load again
Some pages failed to load when their text included an apostrophe or quote mark. They now load normally.

The email window opens properly
The email window could fail if you opened it right after the page loaded. It now opens properly.

A clear message when joining a team doesn't work
If joining a team failed, the page could stop working instead of explaining what happened. You'll now see a clear message.

Your team's home screen loads in the Team App
The team home screen in the Team App could fail to load for some teams. It now loads reliably.

Player stats load for every stat group
Player stat totals could fail to load when a stat group had no visible statistics. They now load normally.

Purchase history loads properly
Opening a member's app subscription details could break the event history table on their purchases page. It now loads correctly.

Tables stay put when you open Emi
Opening or closing the sidebar for Emi, our AI assistant, could cause errors on pages with tables. Tables now adjust smoothly.
