If you are an organization that manages multiple sub-organizations or locations, you can create a registration template for those sub-organizations to use. For this, you can navigate to Registration > Templates and click New Registration Template to begin. You will first be brought to the Registration Wizard where you will complete the 4 steps to initially create your template. Then you will be brought to the Registration Template Overview. This is where you can configure your Template Settings and Template Group settings
There are two types of registration templates:
Reusable Template
This template allows the sub-organization to create a registration form with your template. The registration form that is created from this type of template is not connected to the parent organization. This means the child organization can make any changes they wish to the template, and the parent organization cannot make changes that will propagate down. Any sub organization has access to this reusable template.
You can set the Reusable template in the Registration Template Settings page under the General tab. Once there you can check off Allow sub-organizations to create their own forms from this template (is reusable)
Non-Reusable Template
This template is created by the parent organization and is connected to any sub-organization that uses the template. In the Registration Template Settings page under General you must ensure Allow sub-organizations to create their own forms from this template (is reusable) is not checked off. Once that is confirmed, you can begin editing the Registration Template Groups. Any changes made at the parent level will propagate down to any sub-organization that made a registration form from this template
In the edit group page, you will notice lock symbols next to input fields. This indicates whether the sub-organization is able to modify the field or not. If it is locked, then only the parent organization can adjust the field through the Registration Template. If it is unlocked, then the sub-organization can make changes to that field, and any changes made at the parent level will not propagate down to the sub-organization. To assign this template to sub-organizations you can navigate to Registrations > Templates and click Manage in the Leagues column to add organizations. When you publish the template, all registration forms connected to the template will also publish.
